Dormer King and the entire team has been fantastic to work with from start to finish. We got a few estimates for our second floor addition and DK was by far the most reasonable. Our entire project from start to finish took about 7 weeks, which is exactly in the timeframe that was estimated. Our neighbors were literally amazed at how fast the project was completed, and the quality of the work. When we told some neighbors the 6-8 week estimation, some of them laughed and said “yeah sure, good luck!” But that was exactly when the project was finished! Everyone knows that construction projects can take time and experience delays; we all have that house in our neighborhood that started construction 6 months ago and still isn’t finished. Well not with Dormer King! They are prompt and on top of their game, and that is exactly why we went with them. Having very young kids at home, including a newborn, we knew needed our project to be finished quickly and not drag on. And that is exactly what you can expect with DK. The entire project we were kept in the loop about everything that was happening and what to expect.
Angel on the framing team was an absolute pleasure to work with. He ran a tight ship with his team but was always so friendly and greeted our family with a smile every morning. He was very forthcoming with any status updates or unanticipated developments, etc. His team was so respectful and polite; they cleaned up everything at the end of each work day, so that when they were done there was no potential danger and the yard could be used as (mostly) normal. They even reset our deck furniture for us so we could use our deck over a long weekend.
Ann Marie and team in the office are always so quick to respond with any questions or concerns. Emails are responded to so quickly which is an huge relief when you’re taking on a renovation. They take all the stress out of it!
Blake on the finishing team was so easygoing and great to work with. Even when they were working through a heatwave and other weather challenges, which caused some unforeseen setbacks outside of everyone’s control, he was always keeping us updated and accommodated as best as he could. We can’t thank the Dormer King team enough for their amazing partnership from start to finish, and would HIGHLY recommend them for any of your renovation needs!
